Review of Bead Street

'I was lucky enough to read the un-edited version of Bead Street, when I visited Caroline in April 2008. I was unable to finish reading it while I was visiting but I was so keen to find out what happened to Red, that I asked her to email me the final few chapters! The Fable of Red Clover is an utterly charming book. Her description of every character and their surroundings, brought everything to life. I can't wait to finally own a copy of the book, so I can read it to my daughter.'

Pippa Westoby

Cambridgeshire, England.

Review of Bead Street

'This is a very clever, whimsical story. Yours characters are delightful, in particular Red and Violet. Your style is clever and direct. You have created a vivid fantasy world. The story is a lovely blend of scary and charming.'
