The passageway to a magical world opens up for young readers!

Down a narrow, windy cobblestone street sits a tiny little cobbler's shop with beautiful stained glass windows run by a strange little man named Red Clover. A grouchy recluse who has lived over two hundred years, Red has virtually no memory of his mysterious past. Melly Farold, a sickly little girl who lives across from Red's shop, senses there is something odd (and weirdly magical) about the little cobbler. Sneaking around his shop one day, she discovers a forgotten portal that Red once used to quickly travel back and forth from his magical homeland of Sorrel Glade.

With the help of Melly, her two friends, and a fellow bromus named Violet Harebell, Red must make the perilous journey through the magic portal, capture the evil Bitter Vetch and undo the magic that could devastate the human world before it is to late!

In a valley deep in the Nordic hills lives a farmer's boy, not fourteen years old. He accidently falls into the most amazing adventure he could have dreamed of, as he climbs the centre of his earth and finds the truth about his family. Viking legend tells of 'The Elm', a tree of enormous proportions which the human world of Midgard encircles, along with many other strange worlds. Jot (our hero) finds the inhabitants lonely, lost and searching for overall peace. He encounters strange creatures like the frost giants and makes unlikely friends with a sarcastic deer gelding and a dwarf that can't grow a beard, finally ending up at Asgard-the world of the great Gods. This unassuming boy blindly stubbles into enemies feuds, the dangerous fire world of Muspell and meets the great Draghost, but will he be able to bring harmony to 'the Elm' and all it's inhabitants?
